Online and in conversations with people, I often encounter various myths and half-truths about the rules governing the settlement of photovoltaic installations recently installed. Much of the confusion stems from legislative chaos and the fact that large entities ignore certain provisions of the Renewable Energy Act. Some of the incorrect information about settlements is likely spread due to a lack of knowledge, but such claims are often made by opponents of photovoltaics to scare those interested. This paints a bleak picture of photovoltaics and being a prosumer, suggesting that there's only loss and nothing to gain. Without verifying the claims about additional fees, it's easy to conclude that photovoltaics are not profitable.
