Surface Integrals of Scalar Valued Functions
We define a parameterized surface in R3 and the surface integral of a scalar-valued function. Parametric and explicit descriptions are given for a cylinder, cone, sphere, and paraboloid. Examples are given for each type of description. Lastly, we define the surface integral of a vector field.
