How to use Virtual Background in Google Meet
Google Meet has started with the 2021 Feature Green Room Feature in Google Meet, a feature that provides users a “quick preview” on how would they appear to others before landing in a Google Meet. With this feature, the video-meeting platform aims to give users a quick check for mic, sound, camera and save them from probable embarrassing situations like talking while their mic is off, or having a messy background or, being the only one with the camera on.
Unintentional camera on or off, an unintentional mic on or off, could all be quickly checked with the Green room feature in google meet and what more than entering a meet with the changes virtual background or preferred blurred background in google Meet. In Google meet, there is no end-user setting for the green room feature launched in 2021. Before you join a meeting, you should click the "Check your audio and video" button that appears before joining a meeting at the bottom of the new small window on your screen. Once you click on the button, it will open a “green room,” where you can actually preview your audio and video.
