Today we take a look at a simple port scanner that I built using the Nim programming language. I learned a lot about Nim as well as Windows and Linux security. Here I talk about why I built a port scanner when other better port scanners are available. We also look at the code (it ain't pretty!) and walk our way through my thought process and trouble-spots.
