69-20. It's both the comparison of two tumultuous years in the USA-1969 with National Guardsmen fighting students at CAL Berkeley, civil rights struggles and the Vietnam War-and 2020 and what's happening since George Floyd was murdered by a cop. 69-20 is also the name of the Executive Order by California's governor proclaiming a State of Emergency. As for me: I wouldn't be here if it weren't for black music; it is the backbone of American Music and it influenced me greatly. It's a musical vibe of the times I'm seeing right now.
