I can’t tell you how many times I’ve felt God lovingly rebuke me and say, “Face your assignment. Run your own race.”
In simple terms — “Mind your own business.”
Why?
Because I’ve caught myself looking at someone else’s success, comparing journeys, and silently wishing I was in their shoes.
Sound familiar?
The truth is, comparison is a distraction. It pulls your eyes off your lane and leaves you frustrated, doubting your path, and missing the beauty of what God is doing in your life.
Every time I start drifting, I hear that gentle nudge again:
✨ "Stay in your lane. I've given you a race only you can run."

The more you focus on what God has called you to do, the less distracted you’ll be by what others are doing.

There’s a lane only you can run in — and grace has been poured out specifically for it.
