Sonic Forces demo (Japanese Switch eShop version)
The Japanese eShop launched a demo of the game Sonic Forces. It's short and has some weird 1 minute time limit but so far it seems alright.
And yes I know i suck it was my first time playing okay? After this there is a couple things I can confirm in replaying.
-Classic sonic doesn't have a spindash button like generations.
-As a tradeoff, his drop dash returns from sonic mania
-Modern sonic more or less plays the same as he did in Unleashed/Generations.
-Modern Sonic keeps his double jump from sonic colors & SLW.
-Custom character is VERY slippery. Imagine playing a game on ice, all the time.
-Despite that they control fine once you learn it. Clearly, I wasn't used to those controls yet in the video.
