Rimworld is a sci-fi basebuilder...in a nutshell. But it's much more than that. That's why it's held my attention since the first available pre-alpha back in 2013 sometime. In RimWorld you build a colony and try to survive against all the odds.
I couldn't recommend this game more. Especially if you enjoy basebuilders and a game that creates fantastic stories to share.
The version I'm playing is on Steam, currently Alpha 14. I might try mods out in the future after I get a handle on what I'm doing.
