STEPS TO INSTALLING SOFTWARE
instructions on how to install, First you will have to Google how to turn gopro into webcam or a webcam, click on the link that says how to use gopro as a webcam for Macos+ windows. its on the Gopro website.
Your going to stroll down and look for this Download the GoPro Webcam desktop utility software to your computer, available here. its going to take you to another page on the gopro website in which on that page you will have two options 1 for Mac and the other is for windows. Download the version for your computer
After you download the software to your computer, you should have the file called Gopro webcam , Located in your applications, to get there on your Mac computer click on finder and then click on applications and stroll down until you see Gopro webcam click on that and an camera icon should appear on the top on the right of your computer screen. Note that when your gopro is connected to your computer via USB C the camera icon will display a blue dot on the top of it. When you are using the gopro as a webcam the camera icon will turn red
Follow these steps to update your Gopro
take memory card out of your gopro and connect it to your computer, Once your memory card is connected to your computer, you will need to drag the update file to your gopro memory card, File is called a zip file click on that and you will find the update file that you will need to drag to your gopro memory card. Be sure to drag the whole update file to your memory card if you don't drag the whole file over to your memory then its not going to work.
Next put sd memory card back into your gopro and battery back into your gopro turn on your gopro from there your gopro will start to update, Be sure to have your gopro hooked up to a power source because you don't want your gopro to lose power while updating
ONCE YOU DID ALL OF THESE STEPS YOUR GOPRO IS NOW READY TO BE USED AS A WEBCAM
FYI IF IT DOESN'T WORK THE FIRST TIME REPEAT THE STEPS AGAIN
