Twenty-seven percent consider chips a convenient replacement for ID badges, one in three consider them an effective way to track working hours, and 12% like the fact that they can use the chip to pay at the company cafe with a simple tap of the wrist. Another advantage noted by 27% is that employees don't have to remember passwords: the chip can be used to log into a work computer or email.
