EASY-GIS Empowers Architectural Landscape Planning and Design to Improve. EASY-GIS (V1.0) is developed by CSWADI, and is supported by Sichuan Province Industry-based Digital Transformation Promotion Center (for Civil Architecture Design) to continue to promote the business of digital products. Currently the development of SketchUp-based environment is completed, the software is aimed for smart city and urban regeneration design to fill-in the gaps in the design process. EASY-GIS bridges 3D design, drone photogrammetry real world 3D modeling, and smart city platform. While improving the quality and efficiency for the design industry, it will help to improve the overall efficiency of the smart city construction. EASY-GIS does not rely on high performance computer hardware, it is easy to use, thus could be quickly promoted and applied for large area projects. At present more than 20 design teams within CSWADI have completed training and project practice. According to the project practice verification, EASY-GIS has 7 major highlights: digital land survey, digital research and evaluation, digital modeling, effective coordination, empowering decision-making, convenient for government investment promotion, and easy to learn.
