How to create a moving disabled button in Storyline (with WCAG accessibility considerations)
In this video, I riff on an idea I saw on Twitter where a developer had a submit button that jumped around the page when you hovered over it before completing the mandatory field requirements.
I'm afraid the tweet didn't show any credit to the developer, so I don't know who it was! If I learn this later, I'll be sure to update the details here.
In storyline 360, where you might usually use a disabled state on a button, you can learn a quirky little trick to hide that button and bring it back!
I needed to be conscious of some accessibility criteria when I created this, so I'll also show you how I ensured the same experience was delivered for Keyboard users and allowed someone to turn the animations off if they were distracting.
