In this video, I share my experience using @AshunSoundMachines #hydrasynth as a sound generator for @WeAreROLI #seaboard also useful for different MPE controllers.
The video provides instructions for configuring ASM Hydrasynth and connecting it to Roli Seaboard. In addition, you can listen to some patch examples from my Analog Waves (Vol.1) for ASM Hydrasynth soundbank, for which I released an update of all 128 sounds to be used with an #midi #mpe controller (i.e. with the configuration of MPE-X, MPE-Y and #polyaftertouch parameters) with the appropriate modifications deriving from the particular sensitivity of this type of instruments.
In the examples, you can understand which particular expressive results can be achieved by assigning macros, modulations, or simply by using the sliding between the different notes, combining an advanced controller with a powerful sound generator, both MPE compatible.
