Hello Everyone, my name is Maryana and welcome to my channel! I offer you a recipe for a beautiful and very tasty French dessert, the Fraisier cake, which sounds like strawberries. The cake consists of two layers of sponge cake genoise, soaked in sweet syrup with strawberry liqueur, traditionally kirsch (cherry vodka). Between the layers of sponge cake, mousseline cream filling and lots of fresh strawberries. The top of the cake is decorated with homemade almond paste (marzipan) and fresh strawberries.
Ingredients
Genoise sponge:

Salt - 1 pinch
Flour - 100 g
Corn starch - 25 g
Unsalted butter - 30 g
Syrup for the soaking:
Water - 100 ml
Sugar - 75 g
Strawberry liqueur or Kirsch - 30 ml
Mousseline cream:
Milk - 600 ml
Egg yolks - 5 pcs.
Sugar - 125 g
Vanilla sugar - 10 g
Corn starch - 50 g
Unsalted Butter - 250g
Almond paste:
Almond flour - 100 g
Powdered sugar - 80 g
Natural honey (liquid) - 20 g
Red food coloring - 2-3 drops
Filling and decorating:
Fresh strawberries (large) - about 700 g
Gypsophila flowers
