Powered Observer Sides - 1.11-1.12 Resource Pack
Hello! In this video, I showed off a resource pack I made for Minecraft 1.11-1.12 some time ago which makes it so that every side of an observer block (not just one) glows red when the observer is activated. Every other redstone appliance provides visual or audio feedback when it's powered, so it never made much sense to me that the observer is in many cases quite static since you don't often see the powered end of an observer. The pack has also been useful for observer wiring and following the path it takes with regards to the delay observers naturally have.
One thing to note about this pack is that it contains three textures (observer_front_lit.png, observer_side_lit.png, and observer_top_lit.png) in addition to a modified model file (observer_powered.json) which utilizes these three custom textures in addition to the one provided in Minecraft by default. If you want to take advantage of the features of this pack but don't want to use textures in the default style, you can always modify the textures I made for your own personal use, and the model file will use them regardless.

(By the way, I'm well aware that all default textures will be changing from 1.12 to 1.13. I plan to update this pack as well as Better Turf ( • Better Turf - My Own "Vanilla Tweaks" Reso... ) in accordance with the new textures once they become official. One last thing to note is that this pack may work unreliably with Forge 1.12. I personally haven't experienced any issues, but others have.)
