So the Precious Scars Exotic is a mixed bag in terms of usage. It can be useful if you combine it with passive subclasses that rely on support but anything outside of that is a big no no. I have found that with bubble titan, elemental well mods and charged with light mods, you can create a playstyle that will benefit the overshield you gain after death.
This is honestly the best we can do for the exotic since its so applications to activating are so risky for most endgame content.
