EDIT: I discovered that the method in this video only works if the total widget widths are less than 100% of the column. And that it doesn't work for all widgets.

This video shows how to layout Widgets as columns, which proportionally scale their widths based on Flex Grow.
This gives greater control and reduces DOM elements when compared to using "Columns"
