My second of these Blender assembly animations! The animation itself I was able to do a lot faster, but I wanted to experiment with more of Blender's abilities like using multiple cameras, parenting objects to each other, and experimenting with the lighting system (I still need to work on that).
So this mech was inspired by Armored Core, emphasis on INSPIRED. This is not meant to invoke any Armored Core design in particular, just the feelings I got watching the trailer for the Fires of Rubicon game. Doesn't help that I had never played an Armored Core game before either, so this design in retrospect doesn't really have any Armored Core DNA in it other than the back mounted weapons and perhaps the body proportions. I am still very proud of this model and I hope you enjoy it as well.
It was actually comments from this mech design on Printables that inspired me to make these Blender instruction videos. Also I'm 26 years old now!
