Some SSD models are just "unlucky" and exhibit a high failure rate for some reason. In this video I show you my experience with a couple of Patriot Burst 240GB SSD drives.
My post on Substack explaines my experience with the controller failure of the first one, as well as a way to temporarly recover its use by re-writing its firmware with a tool for Windows. Recently a second SSD had the same problem. This prompted me to record the terminal outputs just after the disk "disconnected" from the system. This video will show the errors encountered.
⚠️ Please note this is just my experience with them. Do your own research! ⚠️
