Too many women have their very first conversation about breastfeeding late in their pregnancy or after giving birth. SHEA wants to change that. The well-being of children starts with proper nutrition, and building confidence in breastfeeding starts with hearing stories from women like you.
The health and well-being of Black women are essential to the health of Black children, Black families, and Black communities, so we must do everything in our power to make healthy choices for ourselves and those we care about.
Episode, 1: Meet Tia Magee. She lives in Jackson County and currently works as an Ophthalmic Technician. She has a 1year-old daughter named Embree.
