Neural Engine = Switch your graphics driver? Davinci Resolve 16 + Nvidia Studio Driver
Davinci Resolve 16 introduced a new Neural Engine that leverages neural networks to enhance and optimize many functions. Today we examine recent changes in Nvidia's driver architecture that speed up the execution of the Neural Engine's work.
To get it out of the way, the Studio driver enables 10bit color on GTX and RTX graphics cards. This is huge if you have a 10bit panel. Note: Not many of us do, though lots of us have 8+2 FRC tech panels which are truly 8bit but flicker pixels between two colors to create a 3rd color only available in the 10bit colorspace.
The improvement reviewed today doesn't add features to resolve, it makes them faster through dedicated us of RTX libraries by the Blackmagic Design staff.
