Exciting times on the horizon! 🎃👻
Does anyone else ever wonder why we celebrate Halloween during the week. Wouldn't it be great on the last Saturday of the month? Well, this is my reminder to you to take it easy and lean into the next couple of weeks. Your students may be tired, over stimulated, eating candy for breakfast... so many amazing possibilities! Go easy on yourself and on them. I plan to do some directed drawing, body breaks, outdoor time and simple one step activities to keep them engaged. I plan to try to keep routines the same as much as possible and enjoy this special time with them- while also recognizing that not all students celebrate and or know what this tradition is all about.
