Highlights!
0:20 - Wave 1
5:44 - Wave 2
6:25 - Close Phantom Call
7:50 - One Shockwave Two Guardians down
9:06 - Stupid Centurion getting in the way!
12:08 - Wave 3 (Retrieval Objective)
12:35 - Could've attempted to grab the second pizza, but that nearby Phantom made me hesitant
13:25 - Are they confused or something? Here, have a graal shot, now move
17:43 - Wave 4
25:22 - Wave 5
36:45 - Gah, that Banshee got to close to me for my liking!
38:40 - Wave 6 (Hacking Objective)
39:56 - Damn it, get out of here Atlas
41:10 - Ok, that was a bad choice regarding which path to take back to the hack location, and even worse to expect to not fall with only one sliver of health with all those enemies there, should've used a spec ops
41:20 - Oh come on, you're still here Atlas?!?!
41:55 - Yay a grab!
45:23 - Wave 7
47:10 - Gah, I'm down!
51:27 - Falcooon punch! The only one in the whole game. :(
51:32 - Wave 8... Pyros everywhere!
1:00:30 - Wave 9, the most annoying wave by far. Even if there were no Phantoms, kiting one Banshee with two big Atlases blocking paths was a pain, and since the filler enemies were Centurions and Hunters, killing each didn't spend the wave budget fast enough.
1:02:12 - Mutual staggering!
1:05:07 - No, you're not shooting that rocket Atlas
1:14:38 - Missile fail... I wanted to get both Atlas and the Banshee yet I only got one Atlas and a Centurion .
1:17:05 - Wave 10 (Escort Objective)
1:18:13 - Stop bothering Atlases
1:18:32 - Not gonna take a chance... missile!
1:18:42 - I'm down again, medigel!
1:18:54 - Almost let that Phantom get too close as I was waiting for the Banshees to pair up
1:21:30 - Wave 11
1:22:55 - OUT OF THE DAMN WAY ATLAS!!! Woohoo, mission accomplished :D
Well I finally did it, solo'd platinum, hooray! I had a few failed attempts before this, some of them maddeningly infuriating (Late wave server disconnect? Check), but whatever, it's done now and I'm happy.
I chose the Batarian Sentinel for two reasons, one being that I really wanted to do this with one of the under-appreciated classes, and two, the BatSent with a Graal is extremely good against Phantoms. Cerberus Platinum pretty much requires that you bring an anti-phantom setup in some way, there are simply too many phantoms to deal with and they are a real pain in the ass. With the Graal I was able to stagger them, always handy, which in turn made it really easy to hit them with the submission net (they can dodge it too easily otherwise), which leads for an easy and satisfying Graal headshot. The Graal works really well against everything else too, the exception being bosses (Atlas, Prime, Banshee), it's hard to kill them quickly with this weapon, that's why I brought the Acolyte, so I could strip the shields/barriers faster. Still, since I was saving bosses for the end of each wave, it wasn't a major issue.
Equipment used was Warp Ammo IV, Cyclonic IV, Shotgun Rail Amp III, Shotgun Amp V. I was using Incendiary on my other attempts, and to be honest liked it better, but I was also starting to run low on it (not really "low", I just like having more than 15 of each), so I switched to Warp. It did come useful against the Banshee barriers. Cyclonic, well, not much to explain there, I can't roll with a Batarian, I need to be able to withstand enemy fire (at least for a few more fractions of a second).
Overall I used all 5 missiles, 3 medigel, and 4 spec ops.
Build is 6/4/6/4/6, shown in detail at the end of the video.
