I believe the biggest risks are shorting cables together during processing and cables coming loose after processing, so I think you should use crimp terminals even if it's time-consuming, troublesome, and expensive.
The Furman power distributor is a good product, but the power cable is extremely long at 4.5m for home use. If you're using it without processing, I recommend a 1U rack-mount type, as it has a shorter power cable.
[Workflow]
1. Cut the cable to the required length.
2. Peel the cable's outer jacket to expose the core wires (black, white, green/ground).
3. Crimp an appropriate size crimp terminal (e.g., R2-3.5) onto each core wire.
4. Check the polarity inside the plug (the white wire is in the "W" position) and re-secure each core wire with the screws.
⚠️ **Caution**: Modifying power cables is electrical work and can be dangerous. Proceed at your own risk or ask someone with specialized knowledge to do the work.
