Basic charcoal drawing techniques

In this video tutorial, Nadine shows you some techniques and basics of working with charcoal. Through exercises and two motifs, you can familiarize yourself with charcoal and experiment. Smudging, hatching, shading, and corrections are all encouraged.
Materials needed:
Charcoal
Cotton pads
Cotton swabs
Hairspray / Fixing spray
Paper
Support, e.g., cardboard (optional)
Masking tape (optional)
