HAKKO to USB-C PD Mod
Originally, my HAKKO FX-901 soldering iron used AA batteries, but that made it heavy and slow to heat up - so I decided to upgrade it by modding it to accept a USB-C Power Delivery supply.
Doubling the voltage meant it's much faster. When paired with a lightweight cord, it's even more comfy to use than before. A quick project, but a huge quality of life improvement!
