Are believers allowed to use words that at first glance humiliate the human dignity of their opponent?
How biblical is it to call a person an abomination? This very word
was used in one video as a description of a person who justifies Russian crimes. Does this rather harsh rhetoric contradict the biblical text that says: “Brothers, if a person is caught in a sin, you who are spiritual should restore such a one in the spirit of gentleness, considering yourself, lest you also be tempted!” (Gal. 6:1)
How can these two concepts actually be reconciled? Hatred of sin and love for the sinner. Let’s talk about this today.
