To collect files, simply drag and drop the "Upload" content element to one of the pages. That's how simply it is. Now your users can either drag and drop their files in there or upload them through the browser.
A frequently asked question we get, is how the storage works. To see how much storage you have on your account, just click your name at the top right corner and you will see how much storage space you have. This storage space is for your entire account. The only thing that counts toward the storage are files that users upload, so monthly submission don't count toward this. The figure for that is right underneath the storage and that resets every month, however the storage doesn't reset each month.
So where can you view the files that users uploaded?
Just go the the analytics in the project and under responses you will find the files. Just click on each response separately and there you can access the files.
So how can you free up storage in your account?
There are 4 ways you can do this:
1. Delete the entire project
Just click on the downward arrow on the project and click "Delete Project"
2. Delete responses
Go to the analytics section of your project and go to responses. Next to each response you can find a trash bin icon. You just need to click that in order to delete responses.
3. Reset Analytics
You can also reset analytics for the project. To do this go to the analytics section of your project and go to responses. At the bottom you will see a button that says "Reset Analytics." Just click that and it will reset the analytics for that project.
4. Delete the question where people uploaded their files
For this you will need to go into the editor of the project and delete the question with the upload content element. This way all the data from your users will remain but only the files will be deleted. This is a great option because you can download the files onto your computer and then free up storage space on your account.
