Ingredients:
Plain flour (Maida) 2 Cups
Desi Ghee 1/2 Cup
Sugar (Cheeni) 1 Cup
Desiccated Coconut (Khopra) 1/2 Cup
Semolina (Suji) 1/2 Cup
Cardamom Powder (Pinch)
Warm Milk (Doodh) 1/2 Cup
Oil for frying
Directions:
1) Combine all ingredients except milk in a bowl and mix well.
2) Start adding the milk gradually an dknead the dough for 10 mins until smooth and soft. Rest for 20-30 minutes.
3) Divide the dough into 4 parts and roll out to about 1/8 of an inch. Use a round cutter to cut circles out of it. Should be around 25 tikiyan.
4) In a wok, heat oil on medium flame and start adding the tikiyan. Donot add more than three at a time. Slightly stir them until golden brown.
