Police on high alert
Police in financial capital on Monday said it was seeking public support to thwart any terror strike during the festive season. Talking to reporters Director General of Police, Maharashtra, P.S. Pasricha, said the police was maintaining maximum vigil as Christmas and New Year were just around the corner. Mumbai has suffered a wave of bombings in the past two decades, including the country's worst attacks in 1993 in which 257 people were killed.
