Fulham striker Aleksandar Mitrovic has apologised to referee Chris Kavanagh following his red card in the FA Cup match at Manchester United on 19th March.
Mitrovic, 28, was charged with violent and improper conduct after pushing the official late in the game.
Fulham were leading 1-0 with 15 minutes left when United were awarded a penalty for Willian's handball - the Brazilian was subsequently sent off following a VAR review.
In the protests that followed, Mitrovic was sent off for manhandling Kavanagh and Fulham boss Marco Silva was also shown a red card as the visitors were reduced to nine men.
They went on to lose the game 3-1.
28 year-old Mitrovic, who faces a lengthy ban, apologised to his teammates and the club's supporters.
Silva also issued a statement of apology and regret on Wednesday.
