How to Sign PDF Document On Mac Preview Using iPhone, Camera or Trackpad New macOS Big Sur, Catalina
here are the quick tips to sign PDF Document on Mac using the Preview app. Also, we can add a signature on Photo Preview, the first way is to use iPhone, iPad. Second is Using Trackpad and Last is Using Camera.

Open PDF file in that you want to add a signature or photo file in the Preview app. Find the file, right-click on it and Open with preview. here's my mac i am editing for the testing purpose. Once it open on mac. Find the Markup icon in tabs. Now you are able to edit pdf file, Now click on the Signature icon. You will see three different options to use live signature editing using your iPhone, Trackpad, and Camera. To use this feature you must have at list one camera or Trackpad is connected to mac.

Here I am scanning my Signed paper copy that has a white background. So your camera is easy to capture the sign only. or if anything is going wrong after add or save signature on Mac, We can delete from the document or Under the Saved sign option. To rescan go with the same steps and add successfully.
Now try the same method on your Mac that has a camera, otherwise, you can also use Third-party isight camera to scan Sign from paper. Now the next alternate method is new and available on macOS Catalina or later macOS. Also, make sure our Mac and iPhone have bluetooth enabled under the settings. Follow the onscreen to check bluetooth is enabled or not. When you click on the iPhone tab, unlock your iPhone and go to the home screen, after a second you will see a drawing pad on the iPhone screen. sign on iPhone and tap on done to save on Mac. Use it any time and delete it in the same way.
