Russia's One and Only Aircraft Carrier Is A Joke?
Russia's only aircraft carrier, the Admiral Kuznetsov, has had a troubled history and has been the subject of much criticism. The carrier was commissioned in 1990, but it has spent much of its time undergoing repairs and upgrades.
In 2016, the carrier was sent to Syria to take part in operations against rebel forces, but it was plagued with problems. The carrier's engines failed multiple times, and a fighter jet crashed while attempting to land on the carrier.
