Street tires vs All terrain tires in the sand, Which one works best?
In this video we tested like new all terrain tires vs old street tires that are low on tread to see which one gets the Toyota 4Runner through the sand better. We have all heard from Matt that tires with less tread float better on sand than tires that have lots of tread. This video demonstrates the outcome of our situation. It is in no way a fair comparison to the tires that Matt is running on his recovery vehicles.
