This video introduces finding the amplitude of a sinusoidal function from a graph. The sine and cosine are both sinusoidal functions.
The midline is the horizontal line that divides the function in half. It is halfway between the maximum and minimum points on the function.
The amplitude is the distance between the midline and either the maximum or minimum value of the function.
