In this video, Erin Barra explains modulation as it relates to oscillators. Modulation is change; a key change that occurs mid-song, a change in harmony or key center. Pitch is the most useful modulation of an oscillator. As you go up the keyboard pitch by pitch, you modulate up a half step on the oscillator. LFO (Low Frequency Oscillation) uses its oscillator as a control signal to modulate other parameters.
