::: DISCLAIMER ::: I know some people are against the concept of vision boarding because they think putting pictures on a board doesn't make things happen. And that's true, it doesn't. But it puts you on the right path and in the right mindset for those things to happen. It's only first step, but it's a powerful one.
I’ve found that a staggering number of people go though life with no real goals or direction. Just the act of taking the time to think about what you want is a step that most people don't take the time to do. Then going further and creating a visual representation of those goals and putting it somewhere where you are forced to be reminded of it every day keeps you focused on those goals. This in turn helps guide you in making everyday decisions and taking actions that will eventually get you those things that you want. A vision board is just the road map; you're driving the car.

And fun fact -- Just the act of writing down your goals and making a vision board makes you *TEN TIMES* more likely to achieve them, so it's definitely a worthwhile exercise!
