ऑस्ट्रेलिया के खिलाफ 3 मैचों की वनडे सीरीज के पहले मुकाबले में 5 विकेट से जीत हासिल करने के साथ भारतीय टीम ने आईसीसी वनडे रैंकिंग में पहला स्थान हासिल कर लिया. इसी के साथ अब टीम इंडिया वर्ल्ड क्रिकेट के तीनों ही फॉर्मेट में नंबर-1 टीम बन गई है. मौजूदा समय में टीम इंडिया के इस शानदार का कारण युवा और अनुभवी खिलाड़ियों का बेहतरीन प्रदर्शन करना है, जिनका दबदबा भी आईसीसी रैंकिंग में देखने को मिलता है.
