How to Make a Mop - Covers Over 4 Feet with Old Towel
I have used this mop to clean a 2,000 square foot area in less than 10 minutes (it takes me one hour with a regular mop). I just use a gallon of water, compared to over to over 30 gallons using a regular mop. Just turn the towel on both sides and after a couple of towels you're done. After that, just throw your towels in the washer. This project is fairly simple, it took me about an hour to complete it. It will save you plenty of time mopping and money on your water bill. The total cost of the parts is about $35. I got the "3 piece Utility W/Glass Scraper Set" at Harbor Freight for 89 cents (Item#34866).

3) Stainless Steel, Size 8-32 (Four 1-1/2" bolts, Four Nuts, Eight washers)
4) Heavy Duty Broom handle with standard thread (before buying it, test with brush for tight fit)
5) Use any old towel (I suggest using a mop bucket with wringer such as Rubbermaid Wavebreak)
