Just start cutting trees for a log cabin. Im out on this land to build a house - like a grown up house - and of course some other cool things… including a log cabin!! I had a perfect window of weather and NO MOSQUITOES to locate, tag and fell a good amount of balsam fir trees. I was careful to cut trees that benefited the surrounding forest, in the name of longevity and stewardship on this patch of land!
I also respond to your comments at the end of this video (from a scroll of fine birch bark!) Let me know if you want me to keep that going. Also - BOW DRILL FIRE! That is officially another new ritual :)
