This workshop aims to give an in-depth introduction to 3Dscript[1]. 3Dscript’s features will be demonstrated by walking through its graphical user interface. Participants will learn step-by-step how to assemble animations, using 3Dscript’s animation language, with a particular focus on details such as the order of transformations. We will discuss means to create animations not only reproducibly, but also how to batch render multiple datasets in a way that allows direct scientific comparison. Finally, participants will be introduced to the new OMERO.3Dscript[2] web app that provides a way to render 3D animations fully server-side, directly on the web interface of an OMERO server.
