How to Update Salient (Wordpress Theme) 2022 EASY ONE CLICK METHOD
Hey everyone, (sorry for the audio clipping, I switched to adobe premiere and I am still learning audio treatment) I promise by the end of this video you will freak out at how much time you save by using this plugin that Themenectar the author of Salient recommends. If you do it the old way you will drop to your knees and thank the gods for this one.
Let's begin with downloading and installing the plugin.
Download here. Then go to the plugin section of your site and add it here.
Next go the plugin itself titled Envato Market. It should be near the bottom of your WP Dashboard.
Then click on the "generate a personal token link here"
click save changes
Next title your token, I usually keep it on default settings. Agree to the terms and click create token.
Now give it a minute or so to update and then once you navigate to the plugin again, you will see the ability to upgrade right here in the plugin interface.
After updating head to the plugin section. There you will see a chance to update your core plugins. Go ahead and update everything.
Note you can also update the plugin in the themes section of your Wordpress website. Dont forget that depending on your hosting the updates may take a while and you might need to refresh the page after a few minutes to try again.
And voila you have a one click solution to aid you in your Wordpress updating adventures. Can you imagine all the time you'll save with this instead of deleting and reuploading the theme? Holy cow.
