HOW TO SET UP A WEBCAM IN OBS STUDIO (IMPROVE QUALITY) ⚙️✅

Full video on how to set up your webcam in OBS Studio, okay? How you can add and configure it. So, if you like it and I help you, leave a like and subscribe.
I have a webcam here, look. It's facing the wall and all, it's even blurry because it's catching the light. Anyway, how can you add and configure a webcam?
First, you'll open OBS Studio. As soon as you open OBS Studio, you'll go here, look, to Sources, click on this little plus here and you'll see here, look: Video Capture Device.
You'll enter the name—I'll leave the default name here. Then here you'll see, look, you'll click and it will say OBS Virtual Camera and your camera, which is your webcam. You'll be selecting your webcam.
Once you select it, you'll have the options here: Video Settings and Configure Crossbar, okay? In this case, click on Video Settings. Then this little configuration window will open, okay? I'll show you it in a moment. Hold on, let me see what else is down here.
Down here, you'll see Resolution Type. You'll click here, look, on Custom Resolution and you'll see the maximum resolution your webcam has. In my case, this is one of the worst webcams out there. I've had it for about four years. It's here, look: 120p, 144p. If I set it to 144, you can see that the image will be pretty bad.
Just click OK, look: it's pretty blurry, okay? So let's double-click on it, go down here and set it to the maximum, which in this case is 480p, and click OK. Okay? I'm coming here again, go down here. You'll be setting it to the maximum possible—look there—the highest FPS possible or locking it to the maximum. We'll be leaving it here at 30.
Here in Video Format, you don't need to change anything. Here in Color Space, you don't need to change anything either. Invert Colors, no problem. And the rest down here, too, okay?
We'll go up there and click here, look, on Settings, Video Settings, okay? If it's not the first time, click OK, close and reopen, and click Video Settings again.
And here you'll be configuring it according to your environment, okay? I can't say, "It'll have this setting, this here," okay? There's Camera Control, okay? In this case, you won't need to change anything; you can leave it at default. You'll be changing it here in Video, okay?
And then, in this case, here you'll be increasing or decreasing the brightness. As I said, this varies from environment to environment. So, what are you going to be doing? You'll be positioning your webcam where you want it to be visible.
Then, in this case, you'll be adjusting here: Brightness, Contrast, Hue. Here in Saturation, I recommend you leave it alone. You'll just adjust Brightness, Contrast, and here in Background Field, okay?
Here in Background Field, you'll be improving the lighting in your scene, okay?
After you've done that, here's: Frequency, too, okay? You have to check if your webcam supports 60 Hz, okay? If it does, leave it at 60, which is better. Then you click Apply and OK.
In my case, my webcam is pretty bad, okay? Like I told you. So it's even shaky here and so on, okay?
But do all these settings: increase the resolution to the maximum here, look, in the option I showed below. What helps the most? Resolution as high as it can go and FPS as high as possible.
But that's it! Simple, quick, and straightforward video. If you liked it, and if I helped you, leave a like and subscribe below, it really helps us.
