The new leveling experience - Shadowlands Alpha
Shadowlands is going to revamp the starting experience for new players and do a global level squish. We're going back to 1 to 60.
Level 1 to 10 is done in this starting area for a brand new character.
Allied races start at 10. Dk and DH start at 8, end their unique starting area at 10.
From 10 to 50 you can pick which expansion to level in.
50 to 60 will be done in the Shadowlands.
Feedback:
Add 1 bonus experience zone, like during the quest 'Ogres to the slaughter'
Make autoloot the default option. Make people aware of options like autoloot, multiple actionbars, keybinds, macro's.
Do not tell people to just stand still and die, teach them how to kite.
Do not tell people to charge in before the tank.
Add a scenario that teaches players about the difference between single target & AoE. Interupts. Offensive and defensive cooldowns.
