Jeep Wrangler - Skid plate nut insert frame repair
If your skid plate nut insert is stripped, rotating or seized up you may have to cut or drill it out. Either way, you may need to repair the threads in the frame or replace them all together. You can purchase the expensive repair plates that weld in replacing all the thread inserts along that side. Or, here is an easy inexpensive way to create a new set of threads.
