TINOLA is a Filipino soup usually served as a main entrée with rice. Traditionally, this dish is cooked with chicken, liver (chicken),gizzard, wedges of green papaya or sayote, and leaves of the siling labuyo chili pepper in broth flavored with ginger, garlic, onions, pepper corn and fish sauce.
I remembered when I was in high school Tinola was mention in José Rizal's first novel, Noli Me Tangere. Akalain mo, may natutunan din naman😂😂.
I also made a super delicious “sawsawan”. As we all know, Pinoys are fond of it😜.
