RECIPE:
Ingredients
1 chocolate-flavored cake (Pullman type) (250g)
3 to 4 tablespoons sweetened condensed milk
150g white chocolate or (1 bar)
1 package of colorful sprinkles (80g)
18 lollipop sticks
Remove the packaging from the cake and crumble it in a bowl until the batter is very loose. Then gradually add the condensed milk. If necessary, add more condensed milk until the mixture reaches a moist but firm consistency that doesn't stick to your hands. Shape into balls the size of a medium-sized brigadeiro. Refrigerate for 15 minutes to firm up. Meanwhile, melt the white chocolate in a double boiler or microwave, stirring every 30 seconds until completely melted. Dip the end of a lollipop stick into the cake pop. Refrigerate again for 5-10 minutes. Then, dip the cake pop in the melted chocolate, let it drain well, and decorate with colorful sprinkles. Let it dry. Makes 18.
Tip from Naka
For the cake base, you can use leftover cake or any other batter.
The amount of condensed milk is very relative; you may need more or less, depending on the moisture content of the batter. The important thing is to add it gradually to maintain consistency.
Its shelf life is very good:
· 7 days outside the refrigerator
· 15 days in the refrigerator
· However, it should not be frozen.
If decorating with fondant, I suggest waiting 24 hours before decorating.
