The Magenta Plus plan from T-Mobile has a high price tag and a few additional benefits. For the most part, I recommend opting for the normal Magenta Plan to save money. Unless you use mobile hotspot data frequently, the Magenta Plus plan is unlikely to be worth the extra cost.
Pricing
Taxes and fees are included in the listed costs for both the Magenta and Magenta Plus plans. T-Mobile charges dependent on the number of lines on a customer's account. The monthly pricing per line for each plan is shown in the table below.
Hotspot on the go
Each month, the Magenta Plus plan includes 20GB of full-speed hotspot data. Only 3GB of full-speed hotspot data is included in the Magenta package. Subscribers on either plan can access mobile hotspots at a sluggish 600Kbps when their full-speed allotments run out. For most individuals, that speed will be unbearably sluggish when using a hotspot.
