On January 15, 2019, five al-Shabaab militants carried out a bloody massacre in Nairobi, attacking the luxury DusitD2 hotel complex. Approximately 700 people became unwitting hostages.
At that moment, British SAS operator Christian Craighead, who was training Kenyan security forces, happened to be nearby and engaged the terrorists, eventually earning the nickname "Obi-Wan Nairobi."
