What is going on guys? Raph here from B&C Camera. And what is arguably the most asked question here in our stories? How to Use a Gimbal and How to Balance a Gimba. Without further ado, I'm going to go ahead and go through my own process on how to balance the gimbal.
A little disclaimer though: This is my own way.
Let's go ahead and learn how to use a gimbal. So now of course, when you have your gimbal, don't turn it on. The first thing you want to do is unlock everything. So you have these major locks right here. One, two, and three, then next you want to unlock the adjustment.
Now that everything is unlocked, go ahead and grab your quick release plate.
Today's featured camera is going to be the Sony FX3 with a 24mm wide-angle lens.
First step: unlock and then start balancing.
Next step: Once you start noticing that it's forward-heavy, you can make micro-adjustments. Push it back so we can good lock that in place.
Last step: The overall tilt.
